2018 Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner today reported that he raised $912,000 during the second finance filing period of 2018. With the primary election just 11 days away, Wagner has $2.2 million cash-on-hand. During this cycle, Wagner had 792 unique donors and 90 percent of the money he raised came from Pennsylvanians.

Scott Wagner said of the announcement, “Whether it’s been through knocking on doors, making phone calls, passing out yard signs or contributing financially to our cause, the Wagner team has been second to none. The support I’m receiving has me energized to close out my quest for the Republican nomination and then continue to draw the contrast between how I want to protect the paychecks of hard working Pennsylvanians with Governor Wolf’s tax and spend agenda.”

Wagner for Governor campaign manager Jason High added, “The amount we raised this past reporting period indicates that support for Scott’s candidacy is growing at an increasing rate. Despite having to spend money on the primary race, we have the cash-on-hand necessary to come out of the gate swinging after we win the primary and turn our focus to Tom Wolf.”
