Wolf’s campaign noted that the Governor is “devoted to continuing his fight for passing a severance tax,” despite also highlighting the fact that these companies already are forced to pay drilling fees.
Scott enjoyed the opportunity to discuss the role of the Marcellus Shale Formation has in his plan to #FixPA. The forum was a great chance for Scott to meet and discuss energy policy with those in the field.

Solobay was appointed to his cabinet post despite the fact that Mary Isenhour, a senior advisor to Governor Wolf, had prior knowledge of the allegations. Since this information was made public, however, Governor Wolf has issued no explanation as to whether Isenhour informed him of the accusations before Solobay was appointed Fire Commissioner.
Scott was honored to have some of the veterans from around Central PA attend his meet and greet in York County. After his speech, Scott had great discussions with those in attendance.
2018 Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner today won the Republican State Committee Southeast Caucus straw poll. With more total votes than any candidate, Wagner is just 45 votes shy of the threshold to clinch the State Committee’s nomination.
Wagner pointed out that, as governor, he will prioritize educational reforms that will address a multitude of problems plaguing the Commonwealth.

“While I earlier commended Governor Wolf for coming to the table to provide long overdue leadership on the opioid epidemic, further review of his statewide disaster emergency declaration has made it clear that he took the wrong approach,” said Scott Wagner.
