While spending sometime in Philadelphia, Scott had the opportunity to tour Herman Goldner Co., Inc. Since 1887, Herman Goldner has been providing full service mechanical contracting solutions and projects ranging from stadiums and skyscrapers to malls and hospital in the Commonwealth.
Scott was honored to be selected as the honorary guest of the Chairman of the York County Republican Committee, Alex Shorb. He always appreciates the opportunity to speak to voters in his own county of York and the chance to catch up with Congressman Scott Perry.
Thank you to Mike Firestine for showing Scott around the Elizabethtown Fair to meet with the agricultural community. Scott was able to stop by the local Republican Committee booth to thank volunteers and to meet County chairman, Dave Dumeyer; Elizabethtown mayor, Chuck Mummert; and other elected officials.
Scott had the chance to catch up with some old friends in Bradford county and was able to meet some new ones as well. Thank you to everyone who came out to this event to hear Scott speak. Scott had the opportunity to take a tour of the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum in Ulysses, PA. Thank you to Potter County Republican Committee Chair Woman, Karen Cahilly, and State Committeman, Bill Chatham for accompanying Scott on his tour. Thanks also to Tioga County State Committee Woman, Vivian Altman, for making the drive over to support Scott.
Scott was able to tour the company, Barefoot Pellet, and learn about some of its history. Located in the mountains of Troy, PA, it manufactures some of the highest quality wood pellets in the industry. Thank you to Bradford County Commissioner, Doug McLinko for setting up this stop and for your continued support throughout the campaign.
Scott walked through downtown Coudersport in Potter County, PA. He stopped by the Artisan Council and chatted with a few local elected officials. Thank you to Potter County Republican Committee Chair Woman, Karen Cahilly, for arranging this tour.
Scott spent the afternoon touring Kalahari Resort and Conventions in Monroe County, PA. Kalahari is home to America’s largest indoor water park, and is a full service vacation destination, that employs hundreds of people in Pennsylvania. Thank you to Senator Scavello for showing Scott around the resort.
Scott took a tour with members of the West Pittston community at small business, Don’s Machine Shop. Owner, Don, has a similar background as Scott where he founded his business with only himself. Now it is one of the most prominent businesses of its kind in the area and employs many members of the community and serves even more!
Scott had breakfast with members of the Wyoming County community in Tunkhannock, PA. It was great to catch up with the Chair of the Republican Committee, David Haire. Thank you to everyone who came out to support Scott this morning.
