Jeff Bartos is a husband, father, businessman and community leader.
Born and raised in Reading, PA, Jeff has been married to his wife Sheryl for more than 20 years. Sheryl was raised in Allentown, and she and Jeff are proud to be lifelong residents of Pennsylvania.  As newlyweds, Jeff and Sheryl lived in Montgomery County and Lackawanna County before settling back in Montgomery County in 1999.  They have two daughters, ages 18 and 16.
Jeff has served as a Montgomery County Republican Committeeman for over 15 years and has worked hard to raise funds for good conservative candidates throughout the nation and across Pennsylvania.  Jeff’s decision to run for public office came after Senator Bob Casey betrayed the safety and security of the United States and our allies by supporting the Iran Nuclear Deal.  Jeff was so disillusioned by Senator Casey’s actions that he explored and ultimately launched a run for the United States Senate in April 2017.  The video announcing Jeff’s campaign was filmed in Reading and focused on the forgotten towns and cities throughout Pennsylvania.
As he traveled the state, Jeff quickly fell in love with Pennsylvania’s beauty and the incredible energy and dedication of the people he met on the campaign trail.  In a very short period of time, Jeff established a very serious, thoughtful and issues-focused campaign.
In November 2017, Jeff suspended his campaign for the United States Senate to join Scott Wagner’s gubernatorial campaign as the lieutenant governor candidate.  Jeff was inspired by Scott Wagner’s leadership and his vision, and the two formed a never-before-attempted ticket early in the Primary.  Scott and Jeff campaigned together throughout Pennsylvania, attending hundreds of local, County and regional events during the Primary.  The strategy yielded a resounding success, as each man won a decisive victory on May 15, 2018 to become the Republican nominees for Governor and Lieutenant Governor.
The many articles and profiles of Jeff focus on his eagerness to study the issues facing Pennsylvania, his thoughtful approach to listening to concerned citizens, and his communication skills.  Jeff is a patient and thoughtful leader who cherishes the opportunity to help make Pennsylvania the fastest growing, most dynamic state in the nation.  When asked recently by a reporter why he loves Pennsylvania, Jeff responded: “I am just struck at how proud people are of our Commonwealth, of how much other people love Pennsylvania, and how beautiful the state is . . . It just captures your heart.  I love Pennsylvania for her history, for what she has given the world, and for the real opportunity she presents to reclaim her economic leadership.  I am privileged to have the opportunity of making that happen.”
